When given the option, choose "Try Touching Teddie". He falls over on his back, proving his point, and then you set off to investigate. You find yourselves in what you both recognize as some sort of alternate dimension Shopping Disctrict, standing right outside of Saki's family-run liquor store with anotherone of those bizarre re-and-black-patterned portals covering the doorway.
Teddie warns you -- and you can see for yourself -- that there are Shadows inside. An animated cutscene begins as the Shadows crawl forth from the door. They're basically roving blobs are darkness with mask-like faces. You hear another voice inside your head saying, "Open thine eyes and call forth what is within. You'll automatically enter into combat with the shadow, a Slipping Hablerie. A Help window will appear informing you that most enemies have weaknesses that can be exploited by different types of attacks in order to gain "1 More" opportunities.

You won't be allowed to hit the Left Trigger to analyze yet, so go to the Skill option and look for the lightninght bolt-shaped option called Zio. As the battle finishes -- and at the end of all battles for the rest of the game, you'll be shown a yellow screen telling you how much Experience and Yen you received from the fight. Your 30 EXP was also enough to push you to Level. The game tells you that you feel something inside of you changing. Finally, you're told that you've gained the persona, Izanagi, after "obtaining the facade used to overcome life's hardships".
Yosuke and Teddie are both amazed at what you can do and Teddie determines that you must be the one who helped Yosuke into the TV and not the other way around. Teddie starts a game-long habbit of calling you "Sensei"; Yosuke's not too pleased about the new nickname; however, Yosuke credits Teddie for his excellent battle support.
Back to the matter at hand, though, the three of you turn back to face the TV World liquor store. Voices start filling the air, muttering all sorts of things, most notably people talking about Saki and the Konishi family, criticizing them for sending Saki to work at Junes, a rival store, marvelling at all of the shame that they must feel.
Yosuke can't help but to feel badly for her, wondering if that detestation was what Saki-senpai had to live through in her last few days. You decide to venture inside the store and more voices fill the air, harsher than before: Saki's father is heard yelling at her and degrading her decision to try to help the family by working at Junes, which he sees as a betrayal. The two of you are finally somewhat deciephering this mysterious TV world and how it reflects the reality of those that enter.
Yosuke can't believe what he hears, he can't seem to grasp the fact that Saki was going through so much hell just for trying to help out. Yosuke makes his way over to a countertop and finds photos all torn up. Particularly, he finds one torn in half that had once depicted himself alongside Saki in a Junes employee picture.

Saki's voice finally pierces all of the others milling about and comes to the forefront. She's claiming that, while she never got to tell him, Yosuke was a "real pain in the ass. He wonders why she felt that way or why she never said anything, all he was trying to do was be a good friend to her. A second Yosuke appears, this one clearly demented, complete with glowing yellow eyes and a dark mist about his body.
The "other Yosuke" starts voicing Yosuke's inner thoughts -- the ones he tries to block out and deny are his own-- just as all personas do. It speaks of how Yosuke hated having to move from the city to Inaba "the stickshow isolatory the whole town has been for him, how sick he is of having to listen to people bash Junes both those that do and do not work at the storehow he always wants to be in a group with people just so he doesn't have to be so isolated.
Yosuke denies these thoughts and asks the thing what it is. Other Yosuke tells the real Yosuke that it is him, his Shadow. Yosuke doesn't believe it and continues to fight back. Yosuke does and suddenly the Shadow transforms into a giant mutant frog-like creature, Shadow Yosuke. Of course, now that the real Yosuke is indisposed, you have to fight the Shadow. The fight begins with Shadow Yosuke hitting you with Izanagi's weakness: WindYou're knocked to the ground.
You'll see an elemental chart much like you do when you analyze an enemy. You're now told by the game that, in order to avoid "devastating attacks" or thosewhich target your current persona's weakness, choose the Guard option.
You should also notice that in this second fight, you still have however much HP and SP you left the previous fight with at the end. You don't regain anything in between until later when you gain skills the regenerate points in between rounds. The creature will be knocked down. Now, you could throw in another Zio, but you won't gain another "1 More" attack, so, if you have a good amount of HP left, choose the Physical attack from your Skill menu called Cleave.
Physical attack skills cost HP rather than SP to use, so be weary. Continue doing this until he's dead. After the fight, Yosuke is still fighting his inner thoughts. Teddie pleads with Yosuke to admit that they are his own thoughts, warning that, if he continues to resist, the Shadow will attack again. Tell him, "You're still yourself. Yosuke receives his own persona, Jiraiyaa Wind-based persona.
Unlike you, however, Yosuke will not be able to maintain multiple personas at once. Yosuke thanks you for helping defeat his otherself. Now is the time for more questions, however.
Yosuke wonders if Saki-senpai was attacked her when she was all alone, with no way to defend herself. Teddie explains briefly that, like Shadow Yosuke, Saki must have had her own other self there in the TV World liquor store. Teddie tells you that disgruntled Shadows like Yosuke's -- and probably Saki's -- draw other Shadows to them and the others eventually gang-up on the host. You decide it's time to head back to the safety of the stage you entered upon. You wonder if what happened to Yosuke -- being attacked by his Shadow self -- is what might have happened to the others.
Do the people that enter the TV World make and shape is as they see the outside world, like a dual reality sort of concept? When prompted, ask Teddie, "It was the same for them?
He says that two people have come into the world. A Shadow must have come out of each which drew other Shadows to it. As the fog cleared, they became violent and killed the one from which the original disturbance spawned. Yosuke wonders if you'd be able to save whoever happens to be thrown in next if you can reach them before the fog clears.
Tell him, "That seems to be the case. If Shadows spawn from humans, where did Teddie come from? Yosuke questions Teddie as to why he doesn't even know who or what he is, and Teddie remarks that, well, he's never thought about it nor ever had a reaosn to until now. Teddie asks if you'll come back. Tell him, "Of course. He warns you to be sure to enter from the same place every time so as to return to the stage area. He can find you there. Then he pushes you back inside the TV to Junes.
Junes Electronics Department[ edit ] Back in the real world, the two of you land on the floor with a crash in front of a panicking Chie. She's apparently been worried since you were gone so long. She hits Yosuke and then runs off. Yosuke looks at you and you decide to discuss the events tomorrow. Samegawa Flood plain[ edit ] On the way back home in the rain, you see Yukiko in a kimono sitting underneath a park pavillion alone.
She asks if you're getting used to the new environment. Repsond with, "We're getting along. Evening[ edit ] Back home at Dojima's, you're watching TV with Nanako when a report comes on about Saki Konishi's dead body being found earlier that morning.
That said, Chie and Yukiko spending lots of time together is nothing out of the ordinary given that they've known each other a lot longer than the rest of the team.
With Yosuke it's slightly different given that he just moved into town recently, just a year before MC, if I recall correctly. If they're gonna get together, it's probably going to be after some more years have passed. The user below has been awarded the Atomic Bong User Info: Number Number 9 years ago 94 I don't know TC, this seems odd, and you posted no link as evidence too?
Anyway, Yosuke and Chie would'nt make a good couple because they argue way too damn much. They look and act more like siblings more than love interests. Besides, Chie shot down desperate Yosuke all the time, which is very unusual to do to someone you like. Death's vastness holds no peace. I don't understand why so many people think that this topic is some sort of veiled attempt to increase support for Yosuke x Chie by claiming that the creator suggested it was canon. I am asking if the claim is real. I am not trying to troll anyone, I am asking if I myself got trolled.
