Instead of attending the shower, she goes back to the holodeck. She is in her quarters with Neelix. It is a very empty room and Neelix offers some suggestions to make it a little less spartan.
He suggests some personal items, knickknacks, a painting, a couple of chairs, a table and some drapes in case they ever show up at a busy spaceport. He reminds her of the stylistic importance of the drapes matching the carpet. She is saved from Neelix by the door chime.

I was pleasantly surprised at what it was all about. For you, what worked best about the character?
Seven of Nine
I think what worked is any time you see some kind of interpersonal relationship, it was interesting. For example, you had Chakotay and the captain, Chakotay and Seska, and, the relationship that was thrown together quickly at the end with Seven of Nine. Other than those relationships, Chakotay was kind of a solitary character, at least from season four to seven.
I think the first three seasons there were a lot of interesting storylines, and then I think a shift happened in the series after Jeri Taylor left. I think any time that a character has an interpersonal relationship that shows growth, and you could say that clearly about Chakotay and the captain.
However, their research came to an abrupt end in when an ion storm struck the Raven. The ship sustained damage, including, most importantly, damage to the multi-adaptive shielding, which went off-line for This left them exposed long enough for the Borg to detect them and perceive them as a target for assimilation.
The Hansens tried to evade pursuit by masking the Raven's warp trailbut the Borg still managed to pursue and find them. They and their daughter were promptly captured and assimilated. Naturally, the experience was traumatizing for Annika. She emerged as a Borg drone five years later inthe turmoil of having been forcibly assimilated replaced with order, and spent the next thirteen years in the Collective with the designation Seven of Nine.
